# Brief Presentation of the DAO Blockhub DAO was born out of the Blockhub community, a highly skilled and passionate group of cryptocurrency enthusiasts created in 2018. Access to this community is limited to unique invitations, which we extend to individuals with prior experience in the blockchain and cryptocurrency world. The individuals we invite not only have experience in the field, but they also possess substantial knowledge, enabling them to contribute valuable insights and expertise to our community. Over several years spent together, bonds formed among members and we desired to take the experience a step further by creating our own DAO in October 2021. Gradually, the DAO took shape, along with the ideas that it embodies.
